It was the day after Christmas, December 26, and after three years it was finally time to go to Switzerland. at about 10:00, we piled into the car and started driving to the Raleigh – Durham airport. After about 25 minutes,we were there. We parked our car ( which took about thirty minutes) and then went into terminal two. The security line was not too long, the baggage drop off was not long, but of course passport control took forever so we got in after about an hour and thirty minutes. It took us about five minutes to find our gate. And then we got a few snacks and dropped off our stuff, got out of our iPads, and relaxed for about twenty minutes. Then we got into the plane to go to the JFK. The flight took about two hours and once we got out we found our gate and then waited for another hour or so. My family was obviously excited. I mean we are going to ski and go to Switzerland for the first time in three years and This was the last flight. Once we landed at the Zurich airport, we would go to the train station, ride the train to Flumseberg, take a gondola up the mountain, and then, well we would be there. My mom told me this at the Zurich airport train station. Ten minutes later our train arrived, we hopped on, and after about an hour we were at the Interlaken train station. Luckily the gondola we were taking was right necrotic to the train station, so it took us about two minutes to get on the gondola. The ride had an amazing view, and it took us fifteen minutes to get up the mountain, which was fine with me. Once we got off the gondola, we walked for about two minutes to our hotel, then got into our room, dropped our stuff off, went to the bathroom, and then immediately went to the intersport to get our ski boots, helmets, gloves, skis, and poles. After that we got about an hour and a half of skiing on the slopes. Ski school started the next day and we got there at around 8:30. Ski school is basically skiing all day with levels going like this: snow garden, blue prince, blue king, blue star, red prince, red king, red star black prince, and then you are done with ski school. I was currently in red prince,  so I will start tomorrow, which would mean I would miss three days of ski school. In ski school on Wednesday we got to eat at a restaurant, which was pretty cool. We got to eat chicken nuggets and drink rivella, which is really good. The takeout lunch only happens once a week, so it was really special.  The food was really good, and then when everybody was done, we started skiing again. Now I will fast forward through the next five days because all I really did was ski and eat a lot of chocolate. We were still staying in Switzerland for a week, and we would spend the rest of the week in wengen, a town on a mountain made for skiing, on the other side of Switzerland. It took six hours to get there by train, and it was fun, since we got to eat a lot of Swiss junk food, enjoy amazing views, and play video games. Once we got to wengen I immediately thought, I will love this whole week. The ski school was slightly different, meaning better. We had a “break” where we would drink soda and eat candy. It was a little hotter, but it was still beautiful, and there were professional skiers all around us for the ski World Cup and Laughterbrunnen. I will fast forward through ski school again, to the time when we were in the Zürich airport, we went into a radish blu hotel, we would wait for two days until we flew back to U.S.A.. during that time, we went to the huge Zürich zoo, which was really cool to. I even got to ride a alpaca! When the sad time finally came to return to America, we were all sad. But when we came back we will at lest enjoy all the Swiss Junk food my mom bought us!!!!
